Join us as we spend a morning volunteering at Community First! Village
Often referred to as the most talked about neighborhood in Austin, Community First! Village is a master planned development that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. A typical serve day may include outdoor projects like working in our Genesis Gardens, landscaping throughout the community, or helping with other kinds of property beautification. The day starts with a brief orientation about Community First! Village and wraps up with a 30-minute walking tour led by one of our neighbors. Volunteers play a vital role in our community, working alongside neighbors to support and complete essential projects.
